Former League President Joan Davenport has sadly passed away at the age of 98, Joan had also been Secretary and Treasurer of the league over a long association with our league, formerly a resident of Stubbins Joan was living at Crawshaw Hall in Crawshawbooth, Joan was a stalwart at St.Phillips badminton club always on hand for a brew during matches in St.Phillips Church Hall. For the few that will remember Joan and want to attend the funeral it is at St.Phillips Church at 11.00am on Monday 24th June, any donations to St.Phillips Church. A Donation has been sent on behalf of all league members.
